unexpected hayball & art gigi fringe straw hat

Es ist endlich wieder soweit: Ich darf euch meine Favoriten der Mühlbauer Frühling/Sommer Kollektion 2018 vorstellen. Heute geht es um einen Strohhut namens Art Gigi. Er ist eine elegante, breitkrempige Cloche aus Baostroh. Bao wird aus dem Stamm des Affenbrotbaumes gewonnen. Außergewöhnlich an dem Hut ist der Fransenkranz im Bereich des Kopfes. Mühlbauer setzt im Moment bei einigen Modellen auf den ausgefransten Strohlook und ich kann nur sagen: ich liebe es! Der Hut eignet sich perfekt für sonniges, warmes Wetter. Und da dieser April einfach schon purer Sommer war, wollte ich Gigi als erstes shooten, mit einem sommerlichen Farmergirl Look, ähnlich wie dieser hier vom letzten Jahr (es gibt übrigens genau dieses Modell gerade mit Fransen - sieht ganz toll aus wenn ihr mich fragt). Strohhüte sind das perfekte Accessoire für den Sommer und Gigi kann man einfach mit allem kombinieren. Die Fotos haben wir am 1. Mai im Garten von Bekannten gemacht. Eigentlich wollte ich dort in der Nähe auf ein Feld. Aber hey, liegt da einfach so ein Heuball im Garten herum. HAHA - wie für mich bestellt :D Heute trage ich Art Gigi mit einem weißen Sommerkleid und Sandalen, auch diese Kombi gefällt mir super gut, ich denke Gigi wird noch ganz oft in Einsatz kommen diesen Sommer. Dann hoffen wir doch bitte einfach nur, dass das Wetter so perfekt bleibt wie gerade eben.

ENG: Finally it's about time again: I can show you my favorite pieces from the spring/summer collection 2018. Today it's all about a straw hat called Art Gigi. He is an elegant hat made out of Bao straw but with a cool funky detail: the fringed area on the upper part. Mühlbauer's new collection is all about fringed straw pieces and I have to say: i love it! Gigi is perfect for sunny and warm weather. Since April showed from it's best side with lots of sunshine and nice warm temperatures, I was in the mood to shoot Gigi first and create a cute farmergirl look, similar to this one from last year (by the way they have exactly this modell with fringe at the moment and when you ask me, it's amazing). Straw hats are the perfect accessory for summer and you can combine Gigi with everything. We took the pictures on May 1st in the garden of friends. Actually I wanted to take them in the field again, but hey, there was an unexpected hayball laying in the garden. HAHA - this was meant to be :D Today I'm wearing Gigi with a cute white chrochet summer dress and sandals. The combination options are endless. I'm sure I will use him as much as I can this summer. Let's just hope that the weather stays as good as it's right now.
